Another first for SANIsoft – an employee was fired yesterday!! Feels bad, but I can not live with compromises – I will not tolerate anyone going against the ethics on which my organisation stands, and top it up with insubordination. People at SANIsoft are my family, and I will let no harm come to my family.
I think as organisations grows, that is a necessary evil.
We started here with 4 in our studio, but right now we are 91, some pests came in with mass influx, luckily none so far in my team. 🙂
Must be a relief!I wish I could fire some co workers lol.
Don’t ever get into the restaurant business. I’ve lost track of how many people I’ve fired over the last three years. 🙂
I suppose it is awful the first time it happens…and doesn’t get any better, all the other times too, if you are really a good organization….but it’s true that the larger the barrel, the more the number of bad apples likely to be in it…so look on the bright side, your organization is showing signs of growth.
And such an incident in a much earlier stage of the organization has the potential of breaking it up; so…if it had to happen, better that it happened at this stage…
It’s rather amazing that you should have posted this today; I had been thinking that our tiny organization had, so far, survived intact. But someone was fired yesterday– a first– because of severe ego clashes, and the person concerned descended to personaliites and his behaviour went beyond the limit. We too are feeling really bad about it, but as you say, the guidelines are clear.
Can’t really stand on any side with out knowing why he/she has been fired :-||
You are not being asked to stand on a side 🙂
