We sure live in a crazy world.
Thanks for concern. Yes it sure is a crazy world – the victims of such terrorism are almost always innocent!!
That was a close call. Thank God you ppl are safe.
Yes it was a close call. Having seen bombay blasts and then seen bombay burning -I was kind of numb when I heard from Tarique about blasts -he saw it on rediff and called me at Delhi. People who escape the blasts are never the first ones to know of it!
Madhmad Sarang
Hi
Just searching the net for more info on madhmad sarang found your article. I have keen interest in the indian classical music & do try to play the sitar & a bit of vocals, when my soul needs feeding. I would appreciate any help to Notes of this sarang. I have heard the brindbani sarang by pandit hari prassad…all sarangs have an effective similar to one another, just like megh, patdeep etc, which also have a deep effect not mention malkauns when played on sarangi or bansuri…these take you away.
Any wayz let me not drift, which is common when it comes to Raags i jst loose it!!!! so a bit of help would be appreciated as i had the urge to play it now on my sitar…..
