Ab kaun muntazir hai hamare liye wahaN
Zindagi tere hawadis ham ko
Jhoot ke shehar ki khushfahmi ne
Hai paash paash phir bhee muskurata hai
Akbar dabe nahiN kisi sultaN ki fauj se
Aagah apni maut se koi bashar nahiN
Ai dost ham ne tarq-e-mohabbat ke baavjood
Dekh to dil se ki jaan se uth ta hai
Mumkin hai safar ho aasaN ab saath bhee chal kar dekheN
