When she saw herself in the mirror she was so enchanted that she gave her heart to the image.
She otherwise used to feel pride in not giving her heart to anyone.
I think she was overconfident about her beauty. When she saw her image, she realized that she is just a normal-faced person. She was regretting underestimating her lover’s love with the false belief of her super beautifulness.
