Of feeling young and romantic

Two more orphaned squirrel babies reared and released in wild. I miss them but such are the ways of life. Be it wild animals or your own children – you have to let them go when they grow up.

On the work front the week has been very very frustrating – the client I am working insists on being the webmaster of his own site and doesn’t even know how to unzip a zip file… … the less said about him the better… …

All in al Nice day – woke up late and tried not to let the work frustrations interfere with the holi mood today and succeeded.

Tarique humming… “chand si mahbooba ho meri kab aisa maine socha tha.. ..”

Leisure, my favourite poem

What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare?

No time to stand beneath the boughs
And stare as long as sheep and cows.

No time to see, when woods we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass.

No time to see, in broad daylight
Streams full of stars, like skies at night.

No time to turn at Beauty’s glance,
And watch her feet, how they can dance.

No time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich that smile her eyes began.

A poor life this if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.
